Logging in to Shyfter Staff (and forgotten password)

Download the Shyfter Staff mobile app, log in with your email and reset your password if you forget it.

What is Shyfter Staff for?

Shyfter Staff is the mobile app for collaborators. It lets them view their schedule, clock their hours, see free shifts, sign their documents and send their leave, change or unavailability requests, directly from their phone. It is the mobile counterpart of the web platform you use as a manager.

Downloading the app

The app is free and available on both stores.

On iPhone (iOS), open the App Store, search for Shyfter Staff, then tap Get to install it. On Android, open the Google Play Store, search for Shyfter Staff, then tap Install.

Once the installation is complete, the Shyfter Staff icon appears on the phone's home screen or in the app menu.

Logging in for the first time

Open the app and tap Log in. Then enter:

  1. Your email address: this is the one you gave to your employer, and which appears in the invitation email.
  2. Your password: on your first login, a temporary password was sent to you by email.

Tap Log in one last time to access your account.

The collaborator receives their credentials at the moment the manager sends their login details from the web platform. If a collaborator has never received their email, check their address and resend their access from their profile.

Forgotten password

If you forget it, the reset is done directly in the app:

  1. On the login screen, tap Forgotten password.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account, then tap Confirm.
  3. Check your inbox (and the spam folder if needed): you receive an email containing a reset link.
  4. Open the link, enter your new password, confirm it and tap Update my password.
  5. Go back into the app and log in with your new combination.

In case of a login problem

First check that the email address and password are correct, then that the phone has a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). If the issue persists, use the Forgotten password function again to start over with a fresh password, or contact support.
