Using the Shyfter Staff app

A complete tour of the collaborator mobile app: home screen, shortcuts, navigation bar and the More menu.

Finding your way around the app

Once logged in, the collaborator arrives on their home screen. The app is organised around a home screen, a series of shortcuts and a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Here is what each area is for.

The home screen

The home screen is the starting point. There the collaborator sees their shift of the day, can clock their hours and view the free shifts available. You can return to it at any time by tapping the house icon at the bottom left.

The shortcuts

At the top of the home screen are several quick shortcuts to the most-used functions:

  • My schedules (agenda icon): view your schedule month by month. The arrow lets you move to the next month.
  • Free shifts (hand icon): see the free shifts offered for the month. A green dot under a date indicates that a shift is available that day.
  • Schedules / information (calendar icon): find your information, in particular your overtime counters, sorted by account.
  • My contracts (paper and pencil icon): view and open your contracts at any time.
  • Unavailabilities (cross icon): add and view your unavailabilities month by month.
  • Leave request (person in a doorway icon): send a leave request, choose its duration and attach a photo if needed.

The navigation bar

At the bottom of the screen, a bar lets you switch between the main views:

  • Calendar: the monthly schedule. Under each date appear green dots (shift) and red dots (leave). Tapping a date shows the corresponding shift.
  • Dashboard (five-people icon): the team's schedule for the day and the time each person clocked. The map icon at the top right shows the geolocation of the clockings.
  • Leave (person in a doorway icon): send a leave request by specifying the type, the date, and an optional photo.
  • More (three-dots icon): opens the app's full menu.

The More menu

The More menu brings together all the options: home, your information, contacts, contracts, unavailabilities, today's schedule, tomorrow's schedule, intervention sheet, shift creation, logs, settings and logout. This is where the collaborator logs out and finds the less common functions.

Some options only appear if the corresponding feature is enabled on the company's account (for example free shifts or shift creation). If a collaborator does not see an entry, first check that the module is enabled on the web platform.
