The candidate record
The eight tabs of the record, and the actions you can start from there.
The candidate record opens on the side, without leaving the list or the board, from any screen where the candidate appears. Arrows let you move from one candidate to the next.
The eight tabs
- Overview: contact details, job applied for, source, application date, declared availability, answers to your form and tags.
- Timeline: everything that has happened, in order, namely stage changes, emails sent, notes and scorecards.
- Documents: CV, photo, presentation video, signed trial contract and identity papers.
- Scorecards: the ratings given by each interviewer.
- Emails: the history of the messages sent, with their status (sent, delivered, opened, bounced).
- Notes: your team's internal remarks, invisible to the candidate.
- References: the referees and their feedback.
- Interviews: past and upcoming interviews.
The actions
At the bottom of the record:
- Move forward: moves the candidate to the next stage. Depending on the stage they land in, this opens the scheduling of an interview, the proposal of a trial, the creation of the Shyfter account, or a simple confirmation.
- Reject: opens the rejection window.
And in the actions menu:
- Send email: writes a message to the candidate from Shyfter, with a subject and a body. It is kept in the Emails tab.
- Add to talent pool: keeps the profile for a future role. Only possible if the candidate has given their talent pool consent.
- Activate as staff: creates their Shyfter account. Only available once the candidate is on the "Hired" stage, and provided they have a phone number.
- Remove from the pipeline: takes the card off the board without erasing the application.
Change stage without moving forward
A Stage selector at the top of the record lets you send the candidate straight to any stage of their pipeline, backwards included. The same confirmations and warnings apply.
Rate a candidate
From the Scorecards tab, each interviewer rates the candidate on the criteria configured for your account, with an optional comment and an overall recommendation: "Strong yes", "Yes", "Maybe" or "No".
Everyone judges by the same criteria, and you compare side by side rather than relying on one person's memory.
