Share a job: link, QR code and PDF poster
The three ways of spreading an advert, and how to know which one brings you candidates.
Once the job is published, its record gathers everything you need to spread it. Open it from Team → Recruitment → Job offers.
The public link
The Download block offers Link to the job ad: one click copies the address to your clipboard. Paste it into a message, an email, a post on your networks or your signature.
The View the job button, at the top of the record, opens that same page as a candidate sees it.
The QR code
The QR code block shows the code for the job. Scanned, it opens the application form directly.
- The QR is active as soon as the job is published. On a job that is not published, it shows "Inactive, publish the job to activate".
- The icons next to the code let you copy the link or open it in a new tab.
The two PDFs to print
Still in the Download block:
- PDF poster: your logo, the QR code, the link and the words "Scan to apply". To print and stick in the window, on a table stand or a flyer.
- Full job ad PDF: the complete description of the role, with the QR code and the link. For a job fair, a school or an agency.
Both open in your browser's print window, from where you can print or save as a PDF.
Know where your candidates come from
Every application carries its source: Careers page, QR code, Referral, Spontaneous, Social media, Talent pool, Job board or Other.
You find it in the Source column of the Candidates list, where it also works as a filter. This is what tells you whether your poster in the window is really working, or whether everything comes from your careers page.
Who is told about a new application
The Job owners, defined at creation and editable from the job record, receive new applications, trials and confirmed interviews by email. With no owner designated, nobody is notified: remember to pick at least one.
