Registration forms for attributes

You can ask your employees to fill in certain attributes themselves during registration or from their profile. This is useful, for example, to collect their driving licence, personal vehicle, or certifications.

Go to Settings ⚙️ → Attributes → Registration forms.

Enable the attribute categories you want to include in the registration form. Employees can then fill them in on their first login or from their profile in Shyfter Staff.

Attributes pending validation

When an employee submits an attribute through their registration form or profile, it is not activated automatically: it first goes into pending validation.

Go to Settings ⚙️ → Attributes → Pending.

Here you see the list of attributes submitted by your employees, along with the information they entered. You can:

  • Approve: the attribute is linked to the employee and becomes active.
  • Reject: the attribute is declined (you can add a comment).

Archiving attributes

When an attribute is no longer in use (lost client, completed project, sold vehicle), you can archive it rather than delete it.

Go to Settings ⚙️ → Attributes → Attribute management, open the relevant category, then archive the attribute.

Archiving lets you:

  • Remove the attribute from selections in the schedule (it no longer appears in dropdown lists).
  • Keep the history: past shifts it was linked to remain intact in reports.

You can view archived attributes in Settings ⚙️ → Attributes → Archived and reactivate them if needed.

Archiving does not erase any data. Historical reports and exports always reflect the information of archived attributes, which guarantees traceability.
