What the notification manager is for

The notification manager lets you set, for several employees at once, which notifications they receive and through which channel. Rather than opening each person's profile, you work on an overview table. It is ideal when you want, for example, to enable schedule notifications by email for an entire team.

Where to find it

Go to Settings ⚙️ → General → Notification manager. The page shows a table: one row per employee, one column per notification channel. Any change is saved automatically ("All changes are saved").

Filtering employees

At the top, three filters let you target the right people: a search by name, a filter by user Status and a filter by Sections.

Choosing the notification type

A tab bar selects the notification type to set: All notifications, schedule notifications, Shifts Market notifications, and the other Shyfter notification types. You set one type at a time across all employees.

Available channels

The table shows a General column (a switch that enables notifications for the employee or not) followed by one column per channel:

  • By email
  • SMS
  • In-app (notification within the application)
  • Web push

Each cell shows the channel status for that employee. The legend at the bottom of the page details the possible states: Enabled, Disabled, Blocked by General or Group (the channel is cut off upstream), and Not available for this role.

Enabling or disabling in bulk

To save time, click a column header: this enables or disables that notification at once for all visible employees (or for those you have selected using the checkboxes at the start of each row). Combined with the filters, this is the fastest way to apply a notification policy to an entire team.
