Schedule PDFs: generation and printing
Shyfter automatically generates the PDFs of your schedules at each publication. Here is how to find them, generate them manually and solve display problems.
The schedule PDF is a printable document that summarises the week's schedule for your employees. It is useful for display in the break room, for social inspections or simply to share the schedule without access to the application.
Automatic generation
Shyfter automatically generates a PDF version every time you publish one or more shifts. You have nothing to do: the updated PDF is available in Documents as soon as the publication is confirmed.
Manual generation
If you have published all the shifts of a week and want to force the generation of the PDF, click the blue button at the top right of the schedule grid. This immediately generates the PDF of the displayed week.
An employee is not in the PDF?
If an employee does not appear in the schedule PDF, check two points:
1. The selection in the user profile
Go to Team → Users, click the employee concerned, then go to Profile → Settings. At the bottom of the page, look for the "PDF print selection" section and check that the PDF in question is indeed ticked for this user.
2. The PDF document settings
Go to Settings (cog at the top right) → Schedules → Schedule PDFs. Open the PDF concerned and check that the employee's status (e.g. worker, student, extra, etc.) is indeed included in the PDF settings. A status not ticked in the PDF configuration automatically excludes all employees with that status.
These two points are independent: even if the user is ticked in their profile, they will not appear in the PDF if their status is not included in the document configuration.
