AI reports
Ask a question in natural language and let the copilot generate a report from your data: one-off or recurring, viewable in-app or sent by email.
AI reports save you from building an export by hand when you're looking for a specific piece of information. You phrase a request in natural language, for example "the total hours worked per section last month" or "the list of employees who exceeded their quota", and the copilot analyzes your data to produce a report. It's a quick way to get an answer without knowing in advance which standard report to use.
The screen is found in Reports → AI reports.
Create a report
- Click the Ask the copilot button.
- Give the report a title, so you can find it again later.
- Write your request: describe in a few sentences what you want to get. The more precise the request (period, sections, data type), the more relevant the result.
- Launch the generation.
The report is calculated then displayed. You can view it, edit it, or relaunch the generation if the request is worth refining.
Make a report recurring
A report that's useful once is often useful every week or every month. You can therefore ask Shyfter to regenerate it automatically:
- Weekly: choose the relevant day or days of the week.
- Monthly: the report is regenerated once a month.
At each generation, the report reuses the same request over the new period. The history of recurring runs is available: it shows the generation date, the status (succeeded, pending or failed) and the details of each run.
Send a report by email
From a report's actions, you can send it by email to the recipients of your choice. Combined with recurrence, this lets you automatically receive a regular report in your inbox, without having to open Shyfter.
AI reports rely on the data actually present in your account (shifts, clockings, costs, absences). Always check a result before using it for an HR or payroll decision.
