Attendance sheets
Download a detailed summary of the hours worked by an employee over a given period, with the balance of hours owed and overtime.
Attendance sheets are summary documents that present, week by week, an employee's planned and clocked hours, the detail of their absences and the balance of their hours owed or overtime. They serve as an official reference for tracking working time, and can be kept as supporting HR documentation.
Access attendance sheets
Go to Reports → Attendance sheets.
Select the period and the relevant employee, then click Download. A PDF document opens in a new tab.
How the document is built
The document is organized by full week. Shyfter only takes into account weeks that are entirely finished or entirely within the selected period, which guarantees an accurate calculation of hours owed and overtime.
Each week shows:
- The period (Monday to Sunday).
- The relevant employee.
- The weekly contractual hours, the number of expected days and the expected hours per day.
- The planned hours, the clocked hours, any overtime or hours owed for the week.
- The comment added by the manager in case of a manual correction of a clocking.
Hatched days are those outside the selected period but taken into account to complete the week (a week always starts on Monday and ends on Sunday).
Counters at the bottom of the document
At the bottom of the sheet, you'll find several summary counters:
- The monthly total: the number of hours worked (based on planned or clocked hours, depending on the employee's settings).
- The balance of hours owed or overtime as of the generation date, across all months.
- The leave taken over the period, the available balance and the annual entitlement.
Download a sheet mid-period
You can download a sheet for a period that hasn't ended yet. In that case, future days also appear hatched (the clockings aren't known yet). A warning indicates that the last incomplete week cannot be subject to a calculation of hours owed or overtime.
