Adding, editing or deleting a clocking

Create a clocking manually, correct a wrong time or delete a duplicate directly from the timesheet control.

It happens that a collaborator forgets to clock, that a time is incorrect, or that a stray clocking needs to be deleted. These three actions (adding, editing, deleting a clocking) are done directly from the Reports module, in the Timesheet control, without going through a separate interface. This is where you make the hours reliable before preparing payroll.

Adding a clocking

Go to Reports → Timesheet control.

Two methods are available to create a new clocking:

Method 1: the "Create clocking" button

At the top right of the screen, click Create clocking. A form opens in which you enter the collaborator, the date, the clock-in and clock-out times, and any breaks.

Method 2: the + button on the scheduled shift

If the collaborator was scheduled but did not clock, click the + that appears to the left of their shift row. This method automatically creates a clocking attached to the shift, which avoids having to manually reselect the collaborator and the date.

Tip: prefer method 2 when the shift already exists in the schedule. The clocking will be directly linked to the right shift and the table will display it in blue.

Editing an existing clocking

In the table, click the row of the clocking (blue or red) you want to correct. The detail panel opens on the right of the screen. Change the desired fields, then save.

Any change requires a mandatory comment: you cannot save a change without justifying why you are correcting the clocking. This comment keeps a record of every manual intervention, useful in case of an inspection or a question from the collaborator about their hours.

Deleting a clocking

Click the row of the clocking concerned to open the detail panel, then click the Delete button. The deletion is immediate and irreversible, so make sure it is the right clocking before confirming.
