Set up Dimona automation, declaration as soon as the contract is created, and updating Dimona based on clockings.

The Dimona (Immediate Declaration of Employment) is a Belgian legal obligation: it must be sent to the ONSS before the first working day of any worker. This page sets how Shyfter creates and updates your Dimona. Go to Settings ⚙️ → Dimona → Settings, then click Save.

Enable Dimona declaration automation

This switch automatically creates the Dimona declarations when you validate your shifts. You no longer have to trigger each declaration by hand.

For the automation to actually work, the Dimona type must be filled in in the profile of the relevant users. Without this information, the automatic declaration cannot go through.

Make a Dimona declaration as soon as a contract is created

By default, when a Dimona is linked to a contract, it is created at the moment the contract is signed. By enabling this option, the Dimona is created as soon as the contract is drafted, without waiting for the signature. This is useful if you want to secure the declaration as early as possible.

Update Dimona based on clocking

When a Dimona has been created for a shift and the employee clocks, this option updates the Dimona from the real clocking data. The declared hours then match the hours actually worked, without manual intervention.

Save

After setting these switches, click Save. The rules then apply to all new declarations.

Automation and updating only concern Dimona managed by Shyfter. Dimona submitted directly on the ONSS portal are not covered by these settings.
