Compliance rules
Enable automatic compliance checking of your schedules, choose the controls applied and set up the weekly report.
Compliance checking is your HR co-pilot: it automatically checks your schedules against your obligations and flags the risk points before a labour inspection. Go to Settings ⚙️ → HR → Compliance rules.
This feature is part of the Pro Pack. If you don't see it, your plan does not yet include it.
Enabling the check
The Enable compliance checking switch turns the feature on: it makes the Compliance button appear in the schedule and applies the rules below when calculating the compliance score.
Choosing the controls applied
Once checking is enabled, you tick the rules Shyfter must control. Depending on your country and your modules, these notably include:
- Dimona: check that a valid Dimona covers each relevant shift (Belgium, if the Dimona module is active).
- Active contract: check that a valid contract covers the employee on the date of the shift (if the Contracts module is active).
- Legal breaks: check that the mandatory breaks are properly scheduled.
- Clocking-related controls: for example a clocking without a break, a gap between planned and clocked, an overrun or a missing clocking.
Each enabled rule enters into the calculation of the compliance score shown in the schedule.
The weekly report
You can set up a weekly compliance report sent by email, by defining the send time. This report summarises the week's non-compliance points, handy for keeping an eye on things without opening the application.
Don't forget to Save after your settings.
