Payroll export

Generating and downloading the performance sheet export

Once the sheets are validated, generate the export in your payroll office's format, then download the file or send it directly to the partner.

The performance sheet export is the last step of the monthly cycle: it transmits your performances to your payroll office, in the format it expects. Shyfter is connected to the main payroll offices, and depending on the partner the export is done in two ways:

  • Flat file: Shyfter generates a file in your payroll office's native format, which you download and then import on its portal (or transmit to it).
  • Direct connection (API): for integrated partners, Shyfter sends the performances directly, without you having to handle any file. The transmission is transparent, in one click.

In Belgium, this covers in particular SD Worx, Acerta, Attentia, Liantis, Securex, Partena, Group S, UCM, Easy Pay, Prisma and more, and in France the SILAE format. If you do not find your payroll office, contact Shyfter support.

Before you start: validate the sheets

Only validated sheets are exported. So start by checking and validating the relevant sheets from Reports → Performance sheets (see the dedicated article). An unvalidated sheet will be left out at generation, and Shyfter warns you.

Generating the export files

  1. In Reports → Performance sheets, validate the sheets to transmit.
  2. Click Generate export files at the top right.
  3. Confirm. Shyfter prepares the files in the background; a message signals this and warns you if some unvalidated sheets will not be included.

Downloading or sending to the partner

Then go to Reports → Performance sheet export. This submenu lists the generated exports. Depending on your payroll office, two options:

  • Download the file to transmit it yourself (import on the partner's portal or sending).
  • Send to [partner]: for partners with a direct connection, a button sends the performances directly to the payroll office from Shyfter.

If the partner's service is momentarily unavailable, Shyfter indicates it ("The [partner] server is down today"); try again later. A sheet already exported is also flagged, to avoid duplicates.

You can return to the sheets at any time via View the performance sheets. In case of a correction after export, reopen the sheet, invalidate it, correct, revalidate and then regenerate the export.
