Why don't some menus appear?

If you do not see a menu or a tab in Shyfter, there are two possible reasons: your licence does not include that module, or your user profile does not have the corresponding access rights.

Sometimes a colleague mentions a menu or a feature that you do not see on your own account. This is not a bug: the Shyfter interface adapts to your licence and your access level.

Reason 1: your licence does not include that module

Shyfter offers several editions and optional modules. If a module (for example Smart Analytics, automatic contracts or the Dimona) is not included in your subscription, the corresponding menu does not appear.

What to do?

  • Check Shyfter's Marketplace to see the available modules: go to Settings (gear icon) > Marketplace.
  • Contact your Customer Success Manager or the Shyfter sales team to activate a module.

Reason 2: your profile does not have the access rights

Even if your company has subscribed to a module, your user profile must have the permissions to access it. Access is defined by the account's administrator.

How to check your rights?

  1. Go to Team > Users.
  2. Click your profile.
  3. Open the Profile > Settings tab.
  4. Check the permissions associated with your role.

If you cannot change these settings yourself, contact your Shyfter administrator so they can adjust your access.

An administrator sees, by default, all the menus available in their licence. A manager or an employee only sees what their profile allows them to.
