Reset your password
Forgot your password? Request a reset link by email from the login page.
If you can no longer log in, Shyfter lets you reset your password in a few moments, without an administrator's involvement.
Open the reset page
On the login page, click the Forgot password link. You arrive on the Password reset page.
This page invites you to enter your Shyfter username, or the email address you signed up with. Shyfter will send you an email containing your username and a link to reset your password.
Request the reset link
- In the Email field, enter your email address (or your username). This field is required.
- Click the Password recovery button.
- A message confirms that the email has been sent: "An email has been sent to you". The recovery link is on its way to your address.
The Back link, at the bottom of the page, returns you to the login screen if you wish to cancel.
Choose a new password
Open the email you received and click the reset link. You can then set a new password, and log back in with it from the login page.
If you do not receive the email
- Check your junk mail (spam).
- Make sure you entered the exact email address linked to your Shyfter account.
- Wait a few minutes, then send the request again if necessary.
If the problem persists, your address may not be the one registered on your account: get in touch with your establishment's administrator, who can check the email linked to your profile.
