Schedule settings on the Shyfter Staff side

Control what your employees see of their shifts in the Shyfter Staff mobile app: end time and past shifts.

What this screen is for

This screen controls how schedules are displayed in the Shyfter Staff mobile app, from the employee's point of view. It does not change anything in your schedule: it simply decides what your teams see on their phone.

Go to Settings ⚙️ → Schedules → Shyfter Staff.

Available options

The screen offers two settings, grouped under General.

  • Do not show the shift end time: when this option is enabled, the shift end time is hidden in your employees' mobile app. They see the start time but not the end time. Useful when the end of service depends on actual activity and you do not want to communicate a firm end time.

  • Hide past shifts: when this option is enabled, your employees no longer see shifts older than a threshold you define in the app. Enabling it reveals a second field:

    • Threshold to hide past shifts (days): the number of days of past shifts that remain visible to employees. For example, with a threshold of 7, an employee sees shifts from the last seven days but not older ones.

Remember to click Save after making your changes.

To let your employees sync their shifts with their personal calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook), the setting is not here but in Settings ⚙️ → Schedules → Public schedules.
