Employee registration form

Enable a registration link to share so your new employees fill in their own profile.

What the registration form is for

Rather than manually entering a new employee's information, you send them a registration link. They fill in their own profile, and the data arrives in Shyfter pending your validation. This is ideal for a season opening, a mass hire or occasional extras.

Enabling the form

Go to Settings ⚙️ → General → Registration form. The page has two blocks.

In the General block:

  • Enable the form: the switch that puts the form into service. Once enabled, a custom link appears just below (in the form https://...shyfter.co/subscribe/...). This is the link you share with your future employees. After registration, you will have to approve them so they join your list.

Customising the form

In the Form data block:

  • Form title: the title shown at the top of the form the employee will see.
  • Form description: an introductory text, for example "Please fill in the registration form. Your manager will then have to approve your registration."

Copy the custom link and send it by email or message. When an employee has filled in the form, their profile appears in Team → Pending employees: there you check their information and activate their account.

The choice of fields and attributes requested during registration is set separately, in Settings ⚙️ → Attributes → Registration forms.
