Custom reports

Create your own report templates with the columns that matter to you: hours, costs, absences, clockings, and many other indicators to combine freely.

Why create a custom report?

Shyfter's standard reports cover most needs. But every company has its own tracking indicators. Custom reports let you define exactly what information you want to see, in what order, and generate that report in a few clicks at each payroll or control period.

Examples of use: a report combining planned hours + clocked hours + variance, a costs report by section, an absences report by type.

Creating a custom report

Go to Settings ⚙️ → General → Custom reports.

The list of reports shows, for each one, its Name, its Active state and Actions (edit, delete). To create one:

  1. Click New.
  2. Give your report a name.
  3. Add the desired columns by selecting them among the available fields (planned hours, clocked hours, variance, costs, absences, number of shifts, and employee profile fields).
  4. Organise the order of the columns.
  5. Save.

Generating the report

Once created, your custom report is available in the Reports menu. Choose the period and export to Excel or CSV as needed.

Custom reports are shared with all account administrators. A report created by one admin is visible to all other admins.
