Configuring the DPAE (pre-hire declaration)
Fill in your establishment's URSSAF information (SIRET, APE code, occupational health code) to prepare and send your DPAE from Shyfter.
The pre-hire declaration (DPAE) is a legal obligation in France: it must be transmitted to the URSSAF before the first working day of any new employee. This page records your establishment's information that will be carried over into each declaration. Go to Settings ⚙️ → HR → DPAE.
The DPAE settings
The page gathers two switches and four establishment details.
- Enable URSSAF integration: enables the URSSAF settings needed for DPAE declarations. This is the switch that turns the feature on.
- Automatic DPAE sending: automatically prepares the DPAE for eligible contracts, without you having to launch it manually at each hire.
- SIRET: the company's SIRET number used for URSSAF declarations (14 digits).
- APE/NAF code: the company's activity code, in the form of 4 digits followed by a letter (for example 5610A).
- URSSAF code: the URSSAF code provided for your organisation.
- Occupational health code: the code of your occupational health service (SST), made up of 3 digits.
Fill in these fields then click Save. They will be reused automatically to pre-fill your declarations.
What it is for day to day
Once this information is saved, Shyfter has everything it needs to prepare a new employee's DPAE from their profile and their contract. With automatic sending enabled, eligible contracts are handled without any action on your part, which limits the risk of forgetting before the hire.
The DPAE is specific to the French market. In Belgium, the equivalent is the Dimona, which is configured in its own settings.
