Connecting your POS to bring in turnover
Connect your POS to Shyfter to automatically import your turnover and manage your schedules based on your sales.
Connecting your POS to Shyfter brings your turnover in automatically, every day, without copying it over. Your sales then appear in your Insights, next to your worked hours and your costs: you manage your schedules based on your actual activity and track your productivity.
Why connect your POS
- No more manual entry of turnover.
- Your sales and your hours are compared in the same place.
- You adjust your headcount based on sales, by day and by section.
Supported POS systems
Shyfter connects to many POS systems. Our preferred partner Restomax has its own dedicated article. Also available: Odoo, Zelty, Popina, Izipass, Growzer, Grainz, D-Vore, Lightspeed, as well as Clyo and L'Addition via the Chift connector.
The three connection modes
Depending on the POS, the installation takes one of these three forms. Each integration card indicates the mode involved.
- Quick install: a single click on Install is enough, with no credentials to enter. This is the case for Growzer, Grainz and D-Vore, for example.
- Credentials required: you enter the access credentials for your POS (provided by the vendor) to authorize the connection via its API. This is the case for Odoo, Zelty, Popina, Izipass and Restomax, for example.
- OAuth connection (via Chift): you authorize the connection in a few clicks, with no technical integration to maintain. This is the case for Clyo and L'Addition. These connectors are paid (a monthly subscription is shown on the card).
The case of Lightspeed is special: when your setup does not offer a direct connection, Shyfter retrieves sales via a daily email export. A dedicated article covers this setup.
Installing a POS integration
- Go to Settings ⚙️ → Integrations → Productivity.
- Find your POS card and open it.
- Click Install, then follow the indicated mode (nothing to enter, credentials, or OAuth authorization).
- The integration then moves into your installed integrations, where the Configure button lets you set it up or check its status.
After installation
Turnover starts flowing in automatically, usually from the next day for daily exports. If you manage several points of sale, make sure each POS is linked to the right establishment or section in Shyfter.
