What is this page for?

In France, the Single Personnel Register (RUP) is a mandatory document that lists all the establishment's employees. Shyfter generates this register from your employee data. The RUP history page keeps a record of each export carried out, so that you can find it and re-download it at any time, in particular in case of an inspection.

Go to Team → RUP history.

This page is reserved for accounts configured in France. On an account from another country, it is not available.

What the law says

The single personnel register is governed by the French Labour Code (article L1221-13). A few useful benchmarks:

  • It is mandatory as soon as the first employee is hired, in each establishment.
  • It must include mandatory information for each person: identity (name, first names, date of birth, sex, nationality), job and qualification, entry and exit dates, and type of contract (CDI, CDD, apprenticeship, internship, secondment, temporary work, etc.).
  • The information must be kept for 5 years from the employee's or trainee's departure from the establishment.
  • In case of an inspection, the employer must be able to present it without delay to the labour inspectorate. A missing, incomplete or erroneous register exposes the employer to a fine, applied as many times as there are employees concerned.

By keeping the history of your exports, Shyfter helps you quickly present a dated and consistent register on request.

This information is given for guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. The exact obligations may change: in case of doubt, refer to the regulation in force or to your legal counsel.

The list of exports

The table summarises each generation of the register:

  • Export date: date and time at which the register was generated.
  • Number of employees: how many employees appear in this export.
  • Exported by: the name and email of the person who launched the export.
  • File name: the name of the generated document.
  • Actions: the Download button to retrieve the file.

The exports are sorted from most recent to oldest by default, and you can adjust the number of items displayed per page.

Each export is archived as it was at the moment of its generation. If your headcount has changed since, generate a new export to have an up-to-date register.
