View your leave balances
See your leave balances by type directly in the app, so you know how much you have left before submitting a request.
Before requesting leave, it is useful to know how much you have left. The Shyfter Staff app shows your leave balances in real time, to avoid unpleasant surprises and submit your requests with full knowledge.
Where to find them
Leave balances are accessible from the app menu, when this feature is enabled by your company. They gather your balances for the relevant account and department.
What you see
For each leave type, the app shows:
- the remaining balance;
- the amount already used compared to the total granted;
- the counting unit (in hours or in days, depending on the configuration);
- the reference period the balance covers.
The types shown depend on your profile and on the leave types defined by your company (statutory leave, but also custom balances where applicable).
Balances are calculated by your employer and their payroll provider. If a balance looks incorrect, reach out to your manager: balances are configured from the platform, not from the app.
