Set up your public company page

Your public address, your branding, your texts and their translations.

Your company page is the page candidates open when they click your link or scan your QR code. It is set up in Team → Recruitment → Configuration → Public page.

The View the public page button opens the result as a visitor sees it, at any time.

Choose what the page shows

The Page content field offers two modes:

  • Full company page: your presentation, your photos and the list of your jobs.
  • Jobs only: the page shows nothing but the list of jobs, without a presentation.

The second mode suits you if you prefer to get straight to the point, or if your presentation already lives on your own website.

Your public address

The Public address field determines the URL of your page, of the type shyfter.com/companies/your-company.

It only accepts lowercase letters, digits and hyphens, no spaces, and it must be unique. If the address you choose is already taken, Shyfter suggests an available variant.

Choose it carefully: this is the address you will print and share.

Identity

  • Logo: PNG, JPG or SVG, 2 MB maximum. It is shown in the header and on your jobs.
  • Tagline: one sentence shown on the cover photo.
  • Sector, Founded in, Main address.

Colors

Five colours to define: Primary, Secondary, Accent, Background and Text. They dress the whole public page and the pages of your jobs.

Company page content

  • About the company: your presentation text.
  • Cover photo: JPG, PNG or WebP, 5 MB maximum, displayed full width at the top of the page.

This block is only shown in Full company page mode.

Two helpers if you would rather not start from a blank page:

  • Generate with AI writes your tagline and your presentation from a few pieces of information. Proofread the text it suggests, then save.
  • Photo suggestions searches for a cover photo by keyword ("restaurant", "team"). The photos are provided by Pexels.

Website, LinkedIn, Legal notice (URL), Privacy policy (URL) and the Reply-to address for candidates, the one a candidate reaches if they reply to one of your emails.

The translations

Your texts are translated automatically into the other languages: a visitor reads the whole page in theirs, your presentation included.

The Translations block shows you, language by language, what that visitor reads. You can correct a translation there by hand and save it.

When you change a text that has already been translated, Shyfter asks you on saving whether it should be translated again: answer Translate to propagate the change, or Leave as is to keep your corrected versions.

A language flagged "Not translated into this language yet" simply shows the visitor your original text.
