Create shortcuts for your most frequent shifts and plan in a few clicks without re-entering the same hours every time.

What are schedule shortcuts for?

A schedule shortcut is a predefined shift that you can insert into the schedule with a single click. It already contains all the information: start time, end time, position, section, required skill, etc.

If you regularly plan the same type of shift (morning 6am-2pm, afternoon 2pm-10pm, night 10pm-6am), shortcuts save you from re-entering everything each time.

Creating a shortcut

Go to Settings ⚙️ → Schedules → Shortcuts.

Click New and fill in:

  • Name: the displayed label (e.g. "Morning checkout").
  • Code: a short code for internal use (e.g. "MC").
  • Start and end time.
  • Section, skill, position and any other usual shift setting.

Save. The shortcut is now available in the schedule when creating a shift.

Using a shortcut in the schedule

When creating a shift, select a shortcut from the dropdown list. All fields are pre-filled with the shortcut's values. You can still edit them before saving.

Shortcuts are shared with all administrators and managers of the account. A well-named shortcut makes collaboration easier between several schedule managers.
