Public schedules: public page and iCal export

Share your schedules through a public web link without login, or export them to a calendar (iCalendar, Google Calendar) using an iCal link.

What this screen is for

This screen offers two ways to distribute your schedules outside the application: a public web page viewable without login, and an iCal link to import the schedules into a calendar. Both work with a link you can regenerate at any time.

Go to Settings ⚙️ → Schedules → Public schedules.

Public page of your schedules

Your schedules are accessible through a link, without any need to log in. Anyone with the link can view the schedule in a browser. This is handy for occasional extras, teams not comfortable with digital tools, or to display the schedule on a screen in the staff room.

Copy the link and share it by email, SMS or messaging. As access requires no login, treat this link as semi-confidential: anyone holding the link sees the schedule.

iCal format of the schedules (export)

The iCal link is used to import your schedules into a calendar app such as iCalendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. Once the calendar is subscribed to this link, the shifts appear and update automatically in the calendar.

The Generate a new link button creates a new address and invalidates the old one. Use it if a link has been shared too widely or if you want to cut off access to former recipients.

For a full view with notifications and leave management, encourage your employees to use the Shyfter Staff app with their personal account rather than the public page.
