Configure your employees' meal vouchers: amount, granting conditions and integration into the performance export.
Why configure meals in Shyfter?
In Belgium, meal vouchers are a very common extra-legal benefit. Shyfter can automatically calculate the number of meal vouchers to grant each employee based on their actual performances, and include this information in the export to your secrétariat social.
Configuring the meal settings
Go to Settings ⚙️ → HR → Meal settings.
Configure:
- Meal voucher amount: the face amount (e.g. €8.00).
- Employer and personal contribution: Shyfter automatically calculates the employer share and the worker share according to the amounts you indicate.
- Granting conditions: from how many worked hours a meal voucher is granted in the day (e.g. from 4 effective hours).
- Days concerned: are meal vouchers granted on all working days or only on worked days?
Integration into the export
Once configured, meal vouchers are automatically calculated when generating the performance sheets. The number of meal vouchers per employee appears in the export and is transmitted to your secrétariat social for processing.
The amount and granting conditions of meal vouchers vary according to collective agreements. Check the conditions applicable in your joint committee before configuring these settings.
