HR settings of the Shyfter Staff app
Enable or disable the HR functions on the mobile app side: remote work, overtime counter, absence requests and Shyfter Talk.

This page controls what your employees can do from the Shyfter Staff mobile app in terms of HR. Each option is a switch that you enable according to your practices. Go to Settings ⚙️ → HR → Shyfter Staff, then click Save.
Available options
- Allow remote work: your employees can indicate, from the mobile app, that they are working remotely.
- Show the overtime counter in the app: shows in real time, in Shyfter Staff, the employee's overtime counter.
- Allow absence requests via the app: your employees can submit their absence requests from the app and attach their supporting documents or medical certificates by scanning them.
- Enable Shyfter Talk: gives access to the Shyfter Talk messaging, on the web as on the mobile app. When disabled, the conversations are hidden everywhere.
Good to know
These settings only affect what is offered to the employee in the app. They combine with your other HR settings: for example, the reasons offered in an absence request depend on the absence types you have made visible in the mobile app.
