The bell: your notifications and downloads
The bell at the top right centralises all your notifications and all the files you have downloaded from Shyfter.
The small bell located at the top right of the Shyfter interface has two roles: alerting you to important events and gathering all the files you have exported from the platform.
Your downloads in a single place
When you export a report, an attendance sheet or any other document from Shyfter, the file is not sent directly to your computer's "Downloads" folder. It is first available in the bell.
This saves you from searching for the file among other downloads unrelated to Shyfter.
How to access your files
- Locate the bell icon at the top right of the interface.
- Click it to open the panel.
- The list of your recent exports appears. Click a file to download it to your computer.
Files stay available in the bell for a certain time. After that period, they are automatically removed from the list.
Event notifications
The bell also displays notifications related to your account's activity: pending validations, important messages, system alerts. A red badge (dot or number) appears on the icon when you have unread items.
Click a notification to go directly to the relevant item.
Customisable notifications
From the Settings, you can choose which types of notifications you want to receive and through which channel (in the application, by email or via the Shyfter Staff mobile app). This customisation lets you receive only what is relevant to your role.
