Close or delete a Dimona
End a Dimona as of today's date or delete it permanently depending on the situation.
Two actions are possible on an existing Dimona: closing it (ending the contract as of today's date) or deleting it (permanently erasing the declaration). These two actions have very different effects: choose carefully.
Access your Dimona declarations
- Go to Documents → Dimona declarations.
- The list shows all your active and past declarations.
- Click the row of the Dimona you want to manage to display its detail view.
Close a Dimona
Closing ends the declaration as of today's date, without deleting it. The team member remains in your history and the declaration is kept with an end date.
Use closing when a team member leaves the company or when their contract ends.
- Open the Dimona's detail view.
- Click Close the Dimona.
- The declaration ends immediately as of today's date.
Delete a Dimona
Deleting erases the declaration from Shyfter permanently. This action also cancels the Dimona with the ONSS.
Warning: deletion is irreversible. You will not be able to recover the declaration once it is deleted. Only use this action if the Dimona was created by mistake.
- Open the Dimona's detail view.
- Click Delete the Dimona.
- Confirm the deletion.
In summary
| Action | Effect | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Close | Ends as of today's date, declaration kept | Normal end of contract |
| Delete | Permanent erasure | Declaration created by mistake |
